I just keep shooting vids, and learning "on the job"
I have the train set done mostly in the background, so thats a plus
announcing, videoing, editing is my current focus,
plus building some cars
Announcing the Friday Night Drags live has helped me a ton,
no retakes...lol
even though is racing, its also a marathon

I try to do something track/diecast related every single day. It's hard sometimes when the weather is not cooperating. My 47 year old, (birthing complications caused brain damaged) brother with a stubborn 17 year old mind who has "Chronic Defiance Disorder" is very hard to keep on track. I can't do the videos by myself. He is so time blind, that he will disappear in the middle of filming with no advanced warning. Or, he just doesn't give a shit about scheduling and efficiency to get races finished. Some days, he just flatly refuses to finish a tournament because he is now board of it, or thinks I am creating rules specifically for him, so that his cars won't stand a chance to win. and I have to put it off untill he has a renewed interest in it, or I can assure him that the rules I try to create with him are for everyone to follow so that everyone has the same chance to succeed.
I don't make enough money to afford to buy multiple cameras or a computer for making great edited videos, so all I can do is film raw footage and use the pause button. My phone is crappy to. Just a $200 MOTO PURE G.
My brother has gotten better about wareing clothes that don't look like he just climbed out of a ditch while he is on camera. This was a big fight in the beginning. He had the attitude of, "I'm a good person, who cares if I dress in pretentious ego maniac clothes, if people judge me for wareing my comfortable clothes as being sub human, then they can go F*** themselves." He has come around to see that it's not the negative thing he wants it to be, but actually, just being presentable and a little bit Professional. After all, you don't see news people on TV in their pajamas of dirty gardening cloths while on-air!!
Outdoors with my tracks. The weather has been huge problem this year. Also, changeing locations for three of the tracks has put the Garden Super Speedway Park development way behind schedule. I also had to put more than three years worth of coatings on the DINO RUN in an effort to make it 1:64 scale drivable. It was actually built for 1:32 scale and bigger originally. First it was built for the Dog as a toy for DINO to chace 1:18 scale cars. The Relocation Project having not been given the green light from land ownership until the very last possible moment, threwa wrench into all of my scheduleing and racing events for the summer. I had no choice but to try and make the DINO RUN 1:64 drivable, since the other tracks being moved from the front yard to the backyard would render them useless for most of the summer.
Well I rambling long enough.

Worry about it tomorrow.
:p

That's why, even though my stuff looks like crap currently, I force myself to continue to post since I'm posting. I know that may only make sense to me. Now that I'm posting, I know my stuff will look better the more I put into it. I can always find a way to 'put off' when I'm not doing it currently so I force my own hand.
I hope that I can build some kind of audience that will stick around until my open road track is built, diorama hits acceptable, and can start mail ins. But right now is mostly for me to make me move forward. Later will be for y'all when it get fancy.
