All the cars will be coming back, I just needed a couple of days to recover from the Convention, lol. they can get pretty rough at night!

I think I'm in Iowa on the 15/16th, so It's looking good for me to be there. Especially if it's on a Saturday night or Sunday. I have a few ideas I want to try out, so I'll definitely be in the race!.

Jobe,
Please give the specs on the 25' and 50' tracks. Maybe I can get some practice runs in to see which of my cars will be faster on a similar track

BTW... can you buy and add extra track to add to the track?

Jobe-

What is the max length of the vehicle that will fit on your starting line?

Ok gang, prototype track is up and running. Need to build another starting gate and make a few tweaks but it's close!
50' is long, barely fits in my shop! I'll be wrapping up the gate and changes next week.

Specs:

54" tall at start
Drops to flat in 24' with 26' of flat to finish gate.

And yes..my shop is a mess! But hey, it's not all MY stuff

Dude the van is AWESOME!!! I love the shop.

Nice track by the way.

I say we kick on that fan at the end of the track and really put a twist on the racing, lol

Fifty feet is deceivingly long. It doesn't sound like much until you see it in a room...or more so, going out of a room.

It's cool you have a shop! All it needs is a Austin Diecast Drags neon sign on the wall, ha!

Good progress on the track. Good shot of your catch box with the playset finish line too, gonna have to steal that.

Don't you have your own finish line? LMAO

Too true...but right now I don't have any catch box, so first things first I'm gonna have to re-engineer my track to support a new finish line and stuff. All in good time.

But I did get my mail-in car up to snuff this weekend. I'd like to think I learned some stuff in Nashville, but we'll see.
