Ok gang, got the starting gate up and running tonight, replaced a warped board and did a little testing.
Needless to say, the track is fast!

I'm trying to upload some video, I'll try from work as my home connection seems to time out.

But I did get my mail-in car up to snuff this weekend. I'd like to think I learned some stuff in Nashville, but we'll see.

This '56 Hi-Tail Hauler looks sweet! Does it have room for weight inside or are you gonna load up the back end? Real nice paint too

Thanks! I have high hopes for this truck. I might put a little clay into the front but it pulled out the plastic motorcycles in the bed so I can drop some weight back there. The photo makes the truck look brown but it's a nice dark red. I opted to use paint and brush this time, which looks a little uneven but it's what I had. I think the style win here is the gold chassis that I painted, it looks pretty hot with the red. I'll try and get a better photo.

1977...yeah...good year...well, actually, I wouldn't know...a couple years before my time Wait...yes, it was a good year because it gave us Star Wars.

The boys and I will be sending in one maybe two stock cars each (3 of us). Not sure if I will have time to do a custom. I have an idea, but have to purchase the vehicle of choice.
