J B Quicking Axles
AFTER I DRILL A 1/16" HOLE DIRECTLY UNDER THE AXLE, I FILE THE SURFACE THE WHEEL RUBS ON AND THE AXLE SLOT...
I FILE A SLIGHT COUNTER SINK ON THE UNDER SIDE OF THE BASE...
. I PUT A DAB OF J B QUICK IN THAT COUNTER SINK, THEN FLIP THE BASE OVER AND PUT ANOTHER DAB OF J B QUICK OVER AND AROUND THE 1/16" ANCHOR HOLE, I THEN PLACED THE PRE-PREPPED AXLES INTO THE AXLE SLOTS, SET THE BASE ON A BOTTLE CAP FOR ABOUT 1.5 MINUTES...
. THEN I SET UP [2] CHEEZE N' CRACKERS PADDLES AS SHIMS UNDER EACH FRONT WHEEL, THEN I FLIPPED THE BASE UPSIDE DOWN WITH THE FRONT WHEELS ON THE SHIMS, GENTLY EVENLY SPACE THE WHEELS OUT FROM THE BASE, ADD WEIGHT, THIS ALLOWS THE AXLES TO FIT FLUSH AGAINST THE BASE WHERE THE FRONT OF THE BASE IS TALLER THAN THE WHEELS...['55 GASSER]...
. THIS WILL HELP KEEP ALL [4] WHEELS ON THE TRACK !
