Korea Diecast Race

hello!
The race will be run on a new track and new season for one year in 2024.

Diecast collectors in Korea are participating.

This is a recruitment post for those who want to participate from overseas.

I am writing this because I have heard that people from overseas would also like to participate.

In 2024, matches will be held in the Swiss system format with 8 teams once every 1-2 months for a year.

The top four teams in the first season's games automatically qualify for the next season's games, and four teams are selected each season to compete one more time.

A car that has participated once can be considered to continue participating if its performance is good.

I had a lot of concerns because courier delivery from overseas to Korea took a long time and was expensive.

Once you ship your vehicle, unfortunately, it is difficult to retrieve it.
However, if the performance is good and the game continues, simple maintenance such as graphite powder work can be done by contacting us through Facebook message.

Rules & restrictions

• Stock and modified entries allowed
• 100g maximum weight
• basic hot wheel size 3.25in. long x 2in. tall x 1.25in. wide
• Limit 100 entries per household
• Retail axles and wheels only. FTE/NPA axles allowed.
• Dry lube only
• Please understand that courier service to collect the vehicle is not possible.

Dates & deadlines

All entries must be received by the host before Monday, 12/25/2023. Racing is scheduled for Monday, 1/1/2024. Results will be posted on or after that date as is convenient for the host.

If you contact us via Facebook message, we will provide you with the address in Korea to send it to.

Include at least $0 for return shipping if you want your entries back. Entries not getting returned will be given to the winner as part of the prize.

Race format and scoring

This is a game that will be played throughout 2024.

1. Selection of 8 teams for preliminary round

March~April
1. Selection of 4 teams for preliminary round
After that, it is as above.

Here, the four finalists from the previous season will automatically qualify for the next season.

The finals will take place in December 2024 to select the 2024 winner.

Penalties/DNF

Cars that fail to run or fit on the track, or that happen to break during racing, will forfeit their matches. Cars that arrive broken will attempt to be minimally repaired before the racing begins. Cars that break during racing will not be repaired or replaced.

Due to overseas shipping issues, vehicle recovery is not possible.

Prizes

Every season, the winner receives a Hot Wheels Real Rider.

The winner will be awarded a trophy.

The top four teams will have a garage diorama with their team logo on display in the stadium.

We will design our own personal logo for everyone who participates.
