Last race of the season, May 30

Everyone check out the plans for the last race of the season. Long track with double points.
Building on v2.0 for season two has started and I hope to have things ready for an early-July start.

I agree but unfortunately there's nothing in place that tracks how often cars are swapped or even the last time a person logged in. I consider the whole season a sort of beta. Some things worked, some didn't. Thankfully the new gameplay for next season will require some attention so the lazy players will weed themselves out fast.
I would consider myself one of the more active players, even though I think I may have only swapped out two cars so far this season. It's true that I was able to score some solid cars when we started because I was one of the first to pick. I would have probably swapped out more often during the season, especially in the American category, but the pickins were too slim in that lot. I must have checked the lots at least two or three time a week, but my starting garage was so competitive, that it was hard to improve upon.
Are we getting points now for just the performance of the cars in our garage or does our votes in the head to head matches have any influence on our points status?
Voting has not affect points or scores. It's just for fun. There are no rule changes for the last race, just conditions of the race itself.
Thanks. In V2, have you figured out how voting affects our point scores?
I don't have exact point values yet, but voting is all you do in v2.0. Your score is based on how many races you can correctly predict.
Thanks!
I took my track out into the yard today to see just how much track I could lay out reliably...turns out to be about 25-feet, so that's the length for Memorial Weekend race.
I should also disclaim that the track will be laid out in the backyard. It's smaller walls.
The test runs I did today went just fine. No crashes or anything specific that suggests the track is not usable under the conditions. Weather report for next weekend here in Ohio is good too, no rain and high temps, so everything should go as planned for the last race of the season.
Thanks for the update. Even in case of rain, it wouldn't matter
if you did the races earlier but didn't post the results until race day.
I think that there should be somthing to make sure that those participating are the active players, I don't think that someone who copped out a while ago and just has good cars should win the series.
Although, It is just season one, and there is no possible way I could win, so, whatever... Haha
