There is definitely something wrong with that Screamin Hauler. I'll bring you a fresh one in Nashville.
I knew the ferrari would be in the final round, but I didn't expect the Charger to be there with it. Damn good show by the charger. I didn't even take that one out of the first round.
I don't think I'd count the Hauler out yet, the 2011 Camaro has pretty good record. The Hauler might not be perfect but I bet we'll see it in the championship bracket.
The haulers are extremely fast, if it didn't dominate that camaro, it's not on it's game.
Oh and by the way, I laid a big fat egg on these first two races. 60 points COMBINED!!!! (only 20 in the green flag V race). I knew this was a different track than the mail-in race, so I was going for the upset, Land Rover over the 300. I figured everyone would vote 300 and this would get me extra points. Egg on my face I guess. I have a lot of making up to do.
The Charger really surprised me. I was expecting the 300C to blow by everything but it didn't out perform things like I thought it would. But I suspect it will end up a champ this season pretty quick. It is fast.
After I recorded the official results, I ran the 300C vs the Charger a few more times and the Charger always came out on top but about a half a car. It was crazy close every time. Had there been 5 more feet of track, the 300C would have won hands down.
That all-metal Screamin Hauler also surprised me. I think the wheels on it are a little more loose that I would have expected. I was bummed to see Carbide not be the car I thought I would be. Oh well...that's the fun! That Howlin Heat will always be a pick of mine too, it's a performer.
The "used" black wall Corvette might get removed from the league. I think there's just a bit too much wear-n-tear on that thing to make it any fun.
