Another question from a rookie.....do lighter cars ever beat faster ones?
I saw in the fastest car thread someone mention Aero Dynamic. I have one and it was about an ounce but it seems fast.
I'm trying to learn all I can so forgive the inquisition.

Yes, the track they are racing on factors in as well. The theory is the heavier cars go bombing down the downhill very fast, but if there is a long flat straight away, the better rolling cars will/can pass them. The weight of the heavier cars starts to work against them at some point.

I am a rookie here on the boards, and in the RDL Fantasy League, (got in on most of season 11), so got my feet wet at least before the spring racing starts. I'm going to try to have 2 modded cars ready and hopefully enter them in this race. This will be my first mail in race, so will be getting my feet very wet I'm sure, lol. If I don't have my mods finished by time to mail in, I will mail in two stockers. So, actually, count me in for sure, for if my mods aren't ready, I'll send stockers. I've been interested in trying a mail in, and now is just as good a time as any to jump in.

My cars should be ready to ship Monday. I set up a 10 foot side by side track and did a lot of testing and tuning. I'm down to an Arrow Dynamic and a FTE2 Ford GTX1. The Ford is fastest with the AD a close second. I have a Covelight that is pretty fast but it's one I bought for my daughter to play with. My Chevelle is a good roller and pretty fast but it finishes about a car length behind the Ford and ended up weighing 57.1 grams. That last drop of super glue got me.
