New to the Hobby
First I'd Like to say Hi To everyone. My name is Dave I'm new to the hobby of Diecast racing. I have previous experience in modelling uk OO gauge Railways so I would like to bring my modelling knowledge with me to this new venture. I hope to bring my new track to the you tube community in a few months as I'm currently working on it. My Track is mixed with wood construction and some card and will be placed in the loft of my house. I'm looking more at doing a UK countryside rally track with single running cars, Those with the quickest times wins. So just as a sneak peak I wanted to share with you my rally track section I'm working on. I'm hoping first cars will be running soon on a fully running track and I hope I can bring enjoyment to my viewers as I have had viewing others. Please Note this is my child's car and not the type of cars I'd be using. Well hope to catch you all soon at The Flatovercrest diecast rally.

Your model railroading should serve you well. Your photos reminds me of the Flintrock Highway track that someone built recently...a railroader as well.

Welcome Flatovercrest21; you're going to really love it here! I'm new as well and am just as excited since joining! I need advice on these same things sometimes as I wouldn't want to ever naively disrespect the community here as it has become my favorite. Track building ideas are what would help me most, for anyone whom wouldn't mind sharing some info, advice & tips. I have a topic floating that's Foundation & Framework (Pre-Diorama).
