looks plenty wide enough... nice workmanship... let me know if you end up needing a 2 or 4 lane transfer like Milton fox's...

Nice looking track!

Very nice! I don't know if you've figured out yet how to keep the track held in place on the aluminum so it doesn't slide, but I would suggest a strip of Velcro at the top of each track to hold it there, and a piece at the bottom to keep it from sliding. I use it on my track and it works great.

I was going to try velcro first. Wasn't sure if it would work or not. Glad to hear it does.

FOUR LANE FOLDING RACEWAY HAS A FOUR LANE FINISH... BUT I DON'T HOW TO ADAPT IT TO H W ORANGE...

Super Easy, that is what we use. You just have to make sure you buy the one that has the connectors on the finish line piece. My buddy found out the hard way that they also make them without the four connectors. You only have to pop off the finish gate and reverse it.

Kind of hard to see, but here is one on Ebay right now that has the connectors. You only use that one piece.

After mowing the yard this morning, the boys and I decided to start on the start box. We were doing good until the start gate itself. I had sent the wife after it and she came home with a piece of acrylic. I really didn't notice what it was until I started cutting it. I boogered it up pretty good but I went ahead and slapped it on the box for tonight. I will get another piece and try again. I messed up the measurements and the cutting. I measured wrong and have no where to attach a magnet to keep it shut. I loaded it up with four cars and it holds them without a magnet.

I built the box so that it would slide over the end of the aluminum ramp.

I ran a piece of wood across the back of the box to stop it against the ramp.

It needs a new gate on the front, a bit of sanding and a coat of paint but I think it will work.

Get lexan instead of the acrylic sheets.

Okay, Lexan does cut a little better.

This looks much better. Not sure if it needs a magnet or not. Seems to hold four cars without for right now. Rocky Top Raceway is coming right along thanks to you guys.
