Stalkers leaning toward Pro Stock and Altereds.

Sounds good. One hooded car, one open motor car. Next time funny car (hooded) and top fuel (open motor). Not that it makes any difference. I'm just trying to offer a reason to justify the choice.

MUST ENTER TWO CARS BY tbd
You can only enter two cars, they must be for different classes.
YOUR CARS MUST BE "drag cars" casting/chassis must have a chute or wheelie bar.
stock or mod cars are allowed, but you should mod...because
CARS MUST USE HOT WHEELS WHEELS, NO EARLY REDLINE WHEELS.
MUST BE LESS THAN 3.5” LONG.
CARS MUST BE LESS THAN 1.25” TALL.
ONLY "DRY" LUBES ARE ALLOWED.
FIRST RACE tbd

Pro Stock class: 57g or less
car must be full bodied and have a wheelie bar, or a chute
Diecast Cars, Hot Wheels, Matchbox

Altered class: "Smitty's class" 57g or less
cars should be in the spirt of the altered class (google it)
cars should have a wheelie bar or chute
Diecast Cars, Hot Wheels, Matchbox

If you have questions about your cars being legal....post up....members will decide. Choose a car that looks like a pro-stock, or altered drag car.

It's called the helping hand, get it at most hobby/craft stores, maybe E Bay. and thats not the only giveaway in that pic.

i found a "third hand", clamp/ magnifier unit = $9.50 shipped... thanks again stawka

also, googled pro stock drag racing... pix of '27 rdstr, '41 willys cpe., '56 bowtie, and some '60's crysler products...
so this "pro-stock" class must not be restricted by year.

I don't quite understand what pro stock is as far as hot wheels go. Is this the only rule(s).

car must be full bodied and have a wheelie bar, or a chute

I'm all in for a Funny Car race.

Any full bodied car w/wheelie bar and/or chute?
Diecast Cars, Hot Wheels, Matchbox
Ya just can't see the wheelie bar from this angle.....yet.

So it's Mods AND Stocks? Also...what's a chute?
I think a Funny Car class sounds interesting; however, keep in mind that many of them tend to be fast in the first place, so people might be reluctant to Modify them.

yup the funny cars i had are real close as well, I figured that would make wheel/axle selection & tuning the key.

Further up this page, I read something like 'stock or mod, but you should mod'--I was going by that.

Have we decided for certain on the classes?
