Oops, Wrong Can of Paint

You know how when you're finished painting and adding decals to a car, you go to add the clear coat.
Without thinking you grab the wrong can of paint and spray a giant swath of white across the entire car before you realize your error.

You try to wipe it off but realize it's futile.

The feeling of having to start over is maddening.

Thankfully no eye drops. Only lost 3 small decals and some gold paint. It's a Nismo Leaf so not much body work to redo. But still. — JBlotner42

yes, the reactions sometimes leave you staring.....but, that is how magma, a promod 1/24 scale model (powered) went, and it looks amazing. (an opps with orange lacquer / bronze) had 2 projects going at the same time — dr_dodge

Yep I did that one day about a month back. In a hurry and distracted I sprayed white primer on a nearly finished car. I stared at it for a minute or so then dropped it in the paint remover tin and took a long break. Sometimes destruction is part of the creative process.
