Open Track diecast racing
My straights are painted with plasti-grip but it didn't help. I was wondering if the straights were longer maybe they would eventually straighten out. Gonna get some sections of stud runner and find out.
I reconstructed my open track coarse this afternoon. This time, I slightly lengthened the 3 entry lanes and laid the track down over a set on encyclopdias to elevate it.
Here is my latest 'Video Racer' footage. The first is a series of solo runs and 2-car heats featuring a Treasure Hunt...the second features a black 'Sweet 16'. Enjoy!!

it is only 4" wide but the vertical corners on my shower "stall" are one piece, 6' tall, ridges are deeper on the outside, but also has some on the inside, which has 1" side rails...
I rebuilt the 'OT' gravity coarse tonight and ran several 3 car heats. 'Fat Track' doesn't seem 'that fat' when GspeedR
"Hot Wheels on open track #10"...3 American muscle cars featured: `68 Cougar, `71 Dodge Demon, and an AMC Javelin AMX(fte2).

Thanks WorpeX.
And here's "Hot Wheels on open track #11"...featuring 2 Ferrari F40s tearing up the Fat Track.
exellent viewing experience, i love the way the SMIRK seemed to cut off the other car just after passing... i'm a straight line guy but that looked a lot like nascar's paint swapping highlights... good fun G...
Thanx Smitty! Your long, heavy cars don't like the banked curve...otherwise I'd feature them. Maybe I could try to do a dragstrip montage with them later this week?
with them later this week?
HEY G, HOW ABOUT A CHANNELLED TO THE ARMPITS A-OK LIGHT WEIGHT, AND A LIKEWISE '32 DELIVERY FOR THAT DRAGSTRIP "MONTA...ER... MONITA'S "-...ERRRRR RACE ?
I was thinking about that too but it would be quite laborious and probably look terrible. Not to mention that the cars would probably eventually detach the thread/glue.
