You're correct Smitty, no Mustang against Mustang in the first round. There are 14 Mustangs, 15 Camaros, 2 Firebirds, and 1 Cuda. I had thought (possibly incorrectly) that it was a Mustang vs Camaro plus extras race. So I checked with Chris and he was okay with the set up.
So here are the results. After each car number you'll see either an M, C, F, or B. This letter will tell you if the car is a Mustang, Camaro, Firebird, or Barracuda. Unfortunately only the winning time for each race was recorded.
Bracket A
96 M vs 16 C - The 16 runs a 2.283 for the win.
85 C vs 54 F - The 85 runs 2.275 to move on.
92 M vs 19 C - The 19 wins with a 2.282.
93C vs 66 M - The 93 crosses the line in 2.265.
5 M vs 61 C - The 5 runs a quick 2.252 to move on.
55 C vs 17 M - The 17 rolls a 2.266.
87 M vs 14 C - The 87 moves on with a nice 2.553.
99 F vs 90 M - The 99 wins running a 2.273.
Bracket B
95 C vs 15 M - The 15 crosses in 2.280.
64 B vs 88 C - The 88 wins with a 2.261.
97 C vs 20 M - The 97 runs a 2.274.

87 M vs 99 F - 87 moves on with a 2.261.
Bracket B
15 M vs 88 C - 15 wins with a 2.264.
97 C vs 6 C - 6 goes on running a 2.272.

The race for third/fourth place.
16 C10's Camaro vs 89 Stromanator's Camaro.
No time was noted but the #89 Camaro takes the #3 spot on the podium.

I've checked out all of the cars. Everybody's wheels roll fine. I'll get the bracket done tonight and post it tomorrow. Jeremy is picking the cars up Saturday afternoon and he'll run them Sunday at the club. Unfortunately I won't be going thanks to the flu but between the two of us we'll get the results posted.
