Pony Wars - Camaro vs Mustang

Inital thoughts, some very fast cars went out early in this one, DVB Camaro, Fat Mike way 2, C-10 Mustang, Kharvest Camaro...and more. There is no Galaxy like in the Sedan series...very tight racing and I think a number of cars will see the top spot of the podium. So many close races had the cars running the same ET, only the light deciding the winner. Congrats to the top 8 and to all entrants great custom ponies everyone! The paint on the Delta 6 cars is amazing...I felt bad putting a sticker on them, beautiful cars. I also liked the yin/yang of the Kharvest entries. Smittys too looked like the cars were still wet...killer paint.
I'll pack up the cars today and get them shipped off to DVB and the LJLRC team on Monday.

Just for the record I want it known that all my ponys are Ford powered. If you look at the engine in my camaro you will see that the distributor is in the front where Henry said it should be. 68 camaro....Ford tough wrapped in Chevy fluff. The cuda has a hemi but it's a Boss 429. If I'm last, I'm last with class.

I will probably do a Fast Mustang, Fast Camaro and Fast Other...based on points. Plus, I'll try to come up with something cool for the overall winner. Not to mention, the voting at LJLRC!
Cars arrived yesterday and the box looks fine. I will try to open them later to check them out. Unfortunately I have just been bitten by the flue bug. I called out sick and may not go in tomorrow or Saturday either. I'll have to talk with Jeremy because if I can make it Sunday we might have a problem. Cameron & his dad usually help Jeremy with the race but they won't be there either. I'll keep you guys posted.

I will still make sure the cars get raced on Sunday! The other thing is I am watching the weather as there may be another snow storm hitting us here in RI so there could be a possibility of having to move our races to February 15th. As of now its supposed to start late in the day on Sunday but you know how the weather can be! I will keep all of you posted on everything and if Bill can't make it I can go by his house late on Saturday to pick up his cars and the Redlinederby cars.
