The car that wins the final race will be declared the winner.
Stock and mod cars will race each other depending on how the bracket goes. Seeding will be random.

Discussion
I've got one of these that I might build, but the casting is getting rarer after it got discontinued from Final Run.

- graphite it and race it stock — LeagueofSpeed
- The Model Porsche was a Final Run for a reason...too wide for Orange Track !!!!!!!!!!!!! — VoxxerRacing
- Final Run was like a weight loss program for the Porsche. — Brakefluid_Tracksurgeon
- Not sure you could use that car. Mine is too heavy, stock. — undercoverbuick
League of Speed is in....2 cars.
Will the stock and mod classes race separately or against one another?
Classes will be mixed, so stocks could race mods. Seeding will be random.
The mixed classes might not be liked by all but I felt it was a good way to get more people involved. Plus, I like the idea of modders having that little voice in their head that says, "what if my car is beaten by a stock?" ;)
It's been a long time since I've hosted on my track so I'm treating this one as a way to get myself back into hosting and also as a way to force myself to work on my track. I'm making some minor adjustments that should hopefully make things more even. I'm also trying to figure out better ways to shoot the track action for video. If I plan on starting back with Fantasy League racing, I need to figure out a way to efficiently yet effectively create race videos.
OK, most Porsche weigh around 30g stock....so the mods would have the weight advantage plus axel polish capability....the dry lube would be the only constant between the two classes. What the hell, I'll do one mod and send the fastest stock I can find with the dry lube added.
Good call, I didn't think about that gap between stock weight and mod weight. I just looked through the stats of my Porsches and you're right, mostly 40-ish to 50g...few outliers in the old metal/metal models.
I adjusted the weight limit to be 50g, so that should help make things more reasonable. I know weight makes the difference in many cases but I'm a firm believer that even your "scientifically disadvantaged" cars can surprise you. It's all about how cars run on that day, on that track...you just never know.
And maybe with a lower weight, it might encourage some to do their first-time mod and toss in a few nickels or something to add a little weight.
What about a Porsche 911 GT1-98?
- yellow 911 Targa will be stock and the blue Panamera modded — LeagueofSpeed
- Sweet Targa — redlinederby
- better put a top on yellow, wind drag is......well a drag! — 2seven
- the Targa just does fit on HW orange track — LeagueofSpeed
- ...so does every hot wheel with a roof and open side windows.. — LeagueofSpeed
I think the Kalamazoo guys are going to mail in some cars. I know my self for sure. It was a lengthy discussion last night.
Define production/retail wheels?
Production/retail wheels and axles are ones that come on the cars that you buy from the store. If you take the parts from a car you bought, you're good.
We have lots of racers that make their own axles and even wheels...those cases would not be allowed in this tournament.
Now, you can modify the retail axles/wheels all you want (polish, trim, sanding, etc.) but you have to start there.
Let me know if that helps or if you have any more questions.
I'll have to see what time is available but I'm thinking about doing a preview livestream after entries are in. I need to get back on the horse with some video and the whole production. If that sounds interesting to people...we'll see...
