Racing at the Halloween Carnival.

I set up my race track in the stunt version last night at my son Cooper's school carnival.
It was a HUGE hit with the kids and parents alike.
I had a box of misc. cars, each kid got to pick one and race against a friend.

Track is pictured here before the mayhem...

Hard to see, but after the drop the cars go into a loop, then there is a small speed bump, then they go through a tunnel and off the final jump. There is a catch box with several slots similar to skee ball with the first slot 10 points, then 20 and so on. No points if you don't make it or just fall off the end of the jump.

I had some dud cars in the batch that wouldn't make it down the track as well as some very fast ones, but that little speed bump could really throw the light and fast cars off the track and crash before the tunnel. Lots of fun. This was obviously one of the first new events at the carnival in some time...and was very popular. Had a group of boys who just stayed there racing cars until they figured out which were the fast ones. Pretty much everyone got a peice of candy regardless of how they did...anyway...tons of fun!

We participated in an annual fund raiser for a school too. Like you know,
the kids love the toy cars and the adults do too!
