[quote="Milton Fox"]Gulp! Those engines are 4x's the size of mine.
First entry mock up build. Still need to do some touch and not sure about the chrome exhaust.

"MUSKRAT'S" GARAGE MATE - THE RECENTLY CHOPPED "VIXON".... DRYING OUT...
WHEEL SHIMS IN USE ;
WHEN I SAW ONE OF TE's RUMBLERS HAD NO GRILL I HAD TO GO VIXON...
Milton--what the heck is that first thing? Nice build!
Smitty, that car is interesting. It's not too wide for the track, is it?
My 2 victims for this race are on their way......Please give them to Fast Fred afterward.....Even if I win.....
DO THEY HAVE LEAD IN THEM... FRED CAN'T BE HANDLING LEAD !
Unmodified cars....so no lead.... I will remember that......
The race cars I'm sending in have no extra lead weight and neither does the extras I'm sending FF
Smitty, good call on the Vicky....close to weight stock....but none of your cars remain stock for long.
If I need to add a grill or lights to my second entry I will.
IMO... your engine if forward enough that a grill might protrude too far... run it rat...
So am I required to have a grill on both my entries?
Milton--what the heck is that first thing? Nice build!
Thanks!, I narrowed it down to being an early '40s Ford (Maisto Knuckle Dragger, before pic is on page 3 of this thread). The base, front wheels and exhaust come from the HW's Greased Gremlin and the rear wheels from a HW's Back Slider. I chose to split the chassis rather than hog out the wheel wells to relocate the rear axle. May not ever do that again!
Looks nice Milton!
I didn't understand that you could make a rat rod look nice. All the pics I saw on Google Images were not pretty looking...........

Fist bump to Fishtail for putting the stacks in opposite directions - nice detail!
