Save the date - August event

doh!  While editing a reply I accidentally deleted the entire post.  Be careful with that delete button. So here it is again....

As the redline veterans may remember, Cooper (aka mcjiggles of weber cabin racing) has been serving a two-year volunteer mission and is returning in June.  He is looking forward to reconnecting with the great redline community.  Everyone has been generous about hosting races and we'd like to get back in the game with an event starting August 17.  We have been discussing some ideas and welcome others.  Right now we are proposing a week of racing with a different event each day complete with great video.  Among the possibilities are:

1) a monster 50-foot driveway drag on blutrack

2) a traditional drag race

3) a funnel race that begins as 4 tracks, funnels to 2 and then to 1.  Crashes are possible in the funnel!

4) first ever open track race with sizzler fat tracks and curves - real passing!

Stand by for news on cars and specs.  I do know he loves fantasy castings and I can't recall an event with those so they'll probably be included.

Lots more to come, but with the race calendar already into May, I wanted to get this date set.
