from time-to-time...and then there's always BluTrack.
I knew about Blu Track, but it's just not the same as having good old orange track
I look on eBay every now and then but the price for a 50-foot roll gets up there when its all said and done, so I've just kept with segmented track. I've told myself if I can find a roll for less than $75 that I'll buy it but I often wonder if a roll has some hidden baggage with it....namely portability.
Just from my experience with BluTrack, a plastic track that rolls up and out a lot is prone to having "bends" and not lay flat. I know you can use a heat gun or water or what ever to try and help it along but that all seems like extra effort/time to me. I can grab segments from the box and have them ready to go in 5 minutes.
Someone needs to invent something that will attach to segmented track and keep the walls from bending where the joints are.
Graphene nanoribbons
MEASURE BOTH THE TRACK END'S WIDTHS...MAGIC MARK THE TRACK WITH AN ARROW SO THE NARROWER ENDS POINTS DOWN...
STORE THE SECTIONS WITH ELASTICS AROUND THE DOWN HILL [ARROW] END...
INSERT 2/3 OF THE CONNECTOR INTO THE DOWNHILL [LOWER] END OF EACH TRACK SECTION...THE WIDER YOU SPREAD THE UNDER SIDE RAILS THE MORE IT FLATTENS THE TRACK AND TIPS THE SIDE RAILS IN...
ALSO IF THE TRACK SECTION IS WORN THE CONNECTORS WON'T SPREAD THE UNDER SIDE CONNECTOR RAILS LIKE THEY SHOULD... CUT AND TRASH THE WORN 2" ON THE END...
Rolls of orange track appear on ePay from time-to-time...and then there's always BluTrack.
