The Sedan Shootout Series mail-in

Well, after the tune up at the winter nat's Rally case is the car to watch...heads up Luke...

I got a package from Macon, Georgia today...I'll send it on it's way to Seekonk tomorrow. Although I bet Luke would like to keep that Galaxy! :)

I got the main box of cars yesterday. Just waiting on two other packages. Looks like there are 31 cars but I'll know for sure once I have them all and do a final count. If there is 31 I'll add another for a 32 car field. I have a sedan from the Gasser Wars series that meets the weight requirement. 

Fat Mike - who gets what car of the 3 I just got in the mail?  I assume at least one is for you and one is for Luke so you each have a two car team. What about the third car?  I'll use numbers 73 for Mike, 76 for Luke, and 77 can be the third car.

Smitty gets back his #45 Delta borrowed. If Delta is okay with it I'll give him numbers 19 & 20. 

I went back before the first race and paid more attention to C10's post about FM's cars having been returned to him instead of going to C10.  Now that I have FM 's cars will he and Luke continue to race the the rentals and I'm just adding the new ones to their stable?  

Luke will continue to run the Galaxy, plus his entry...FatMike will start running his cars, and the Prize car will just be a Prize Car (the Midnight Otto). Smitty will take over his #45 car, and Delta 6 will start running his.

I'm not sure what to do with the points the FatMike earned with the temp car.

Okay, so that gives us 30 cars. If nobody minds I'll add two cars from earlier race series that meet the specs for a 32 car field which I think is easier to run. 

I didn't see it right away when I got home but Delta's cars arrived today. He will have #3 & #6.  I'm waiting to hear from Fat Mike on which 2 cars are his and /or which one is Lukes. 

I can't number them without knowing who's running what so I can get the bracket done.

Jeremy is picking these up around noon today & FOTF and Sinister Dog will race them for me Sunday at the LJLRC meet. I'll get them back Monday so I can hopefully run them here before shipping them out.  I'll get Sunday's results posted as fast as I can. It'll depend on what time I get home Sunday after taking my son back to Maine for school. 

If you need me to, I can throw in a car or two to make a more even number.  I've got a couple that would qualify (assuming that Mustangs are "Sedans," and not classified as "Pony Cars" or something) from past series. I don't mind late entry, I highly doubt they'll win anyway.  (Not sure if I'll have time to modify anything today--but maybe I'll try if I can still get in.)

I look forward to seeing the times from the LJLRC track...I think the fast cars are pretty fast in this series
