Slot cars in die cast racing?
On a whim, I was curious
that is an autoworld 18" radius and a crash track
I have a temporary mt track setup (old jamestown)
and I am gonna play with running the slot car thru the mt track.
(I have 300' of track, and 6 - 180° 18" banks)
you could use it for emergency vehicles, and also another track for the complex
same scale as MB/HW
what does anyone else think?

Lol you guys are like 15 years behind on the slot car track with hot wheels idea... Check out diecast racer x
- but the slot cars are not functional. I am talking about them running, too — dr_dodge

- no problem dude, I figured you did. cheers!!! — dr_dodge
- and I have die cast bodies on slot cars, non magnet cars are a hoot! — dr_dodge
the fit is amazing
a cheap set would easily yield 2 emergency lane to the inside of crash track
a bldg to cover the return, 4+ bay EMP could be a great simple model
but, the flat 15" radius corners skirt the crash track nice
also gives me a divided hiway in the back ground
y'all tell me, but it doesn't seen the slot car track is out of place,
just the highway/enduro raceway
thanks,

how interesting.
the outside is the 18"
it appears the outside of crash track would probably fit AFX 15" radius tight to the top edge.
(the 18 could fit outside of that)
but more interesting, normal autoworld curve fits precisely to the inside of the crash track
if you screwed the slot car track down, the curve is much squarer, tight, and even.
hhmm...need some 15" AFX race master track....off to ebay
lol

Well, I'll find out soon enough
added:
ordered 6 - 180° 15"
that gives me 4 lanes of bank to go in the case, if nothing else
