Stripped and Ready

Get your minds out of the gutter. :)

My son was messing around and wanted to see what he could do with a car I had laying around. It was an ugly convertible vw with yellow wheels. I had a few I needed to strip for the next two races so I could get to building.

The VW really is not bad looking stripped of that red paint and those ugly yellow wheels. He wants to stick normal wheels under it and slam it down as low as we can get it. He wants to cut the hood and have a blower sticking out of it. I may just talk him into a repaint and lowering. He doesn't realize that the motors are in the back and it would look a little weird with a blower sticking out of the hood.

The next one is going to be my Bare Muscle car unless I change my mind. I just stripped it and sat it back on the same chassis. Need to change the wheels and figure out what else I need to do to it.

The next two, I am undecided on. I am going to build them both and see which is quicker and send it in for the Before and After series. My son picked the wagon and I picked the GTO.

Come on, they don't look that bad lol.  A JL bug I turned into a Zinger many, many years ago.

You son likes to think outside the box.  Cool!
