The rules are back on page 3 of this thread. The plan is to run them along side GASSER WARS II. We haven't figured out when to start these series, but it's looking like after the LJLRC Sportsman series is over (got any Johnny Lightning cars?).

ONE CAR.
STOCK OR MOD OK (IT'S MORE FUN TO MOD!).
ANY WHEELS.
ANY BODY MODS (MUST LOOK AS THOUGH IT WAS A '67 CHEVELLE).
ANY CHASSIS MODS (WHEELS MUST FIT BETWEEN FRONT AND REAR OF BODY).
CARS MUST WEIGH 45 GRAMS OR LESS.
CARS MUST BE LESS THAN 3.5” LONG.
CARS MUST BE LESS THAN 1.25” TALL.
ONLY "DRY" LUBES ARE ALLOWED.

Just curious if this rule is just to keep in the spirit of Hod Rodding. It seems to me if you start with a "67 Chevelle the wheels could go wherever. I don't think anybody is going to build anything more radical that what Smitty did...but. if they wanted to, I'd like to see it. Then change the rules if somebody gets too ridiculously out of hand.

Well, I'd like to see at least one, then cut 'em off.

I'm pushing a little bit. I have two Chevlles right now that Im testing.. They are modded differently to see whitch way works faster for me. I drilled out a 3rd Chevelle tonight for a possible plan C

That's what I'm talkin' about! If somebody actually built some monster, it would be cool to see. Then it would be even cooler to see it was actually fast and could beat some cars. Then we would all learn something.

I'm with Carl though I'd much rather it be about economizing cars that look like cars.

Then if some freak show was beating the pants off of everybody we adjust the rules, just like NHRA and do away with innovation.

Man this testing takes time! LOL Im the rookie here so I'm trying to make sure my car will hang with the pro mods.

Well...I fell asleep last night at 10:30! lol. I never do that. but it's too hot outside to do much today so let the mods begin!

i think im gonna throw my hat in for the chevelles too. will go hit the stores at lunch. I have a few at home already though. but must chop cut build!
