The Orange Monster Rally

This is a 216 car Rally...where one car will emerge from a field of 216 to be claimed The Orange Monster Rally Champion!!! The cars will race 6 Wide down an extended Hot Wheels 6 Lane Raceway onto a flat Run-Out section to the Finish....36 Heats...6 Knock-Out Rounds and a 6 Car Championship!!!!
Rules & restrictions
- Stock and modified entries allowed
- 65g maximum weight
- 3.25in. long x 2in. tall x 1.25in. wide
- Limit 6 entries per team...with a max of 3 teams aka 18 cars
- Dry lube only
- Teams are 6 car teams...entrants may enter up to 3 Teams/18 Cars
Dates & deadlines
All entries must be received by the host on or before Thursday, 12/20/2018. Racing is scheduled for Thursday, 12/27/2018. Results will be posted on or after that date as is convenient for the host.
How to enter
Contact the tournament host to get the shipping address.
Include enough money for return shipping if you want your entries back....whatever it cost you to ship to me...that's what it cost me to ship back to you...Entries not getting returned will be given to the winner as part of the prize.

The Orange Monster...extended 6 Lane Raceway with a 10' Run-Out...6 Wide Racing!!!
Race format and scoring
This will be a single-elimination tournament until the Final/Championship. The cars will be divided into 36 Heats composed of 6 cars per Heat...Lane Draw will be random. The Winners of the Heats will advance to the Knock-Out Rounds....Winners of Heats 1-6 will comprise Knock-Out # 1...Winners of Heats 7-12 will comprise Knock-Out # 2 and so on with the Winners of Heats 31-36 comprising Knock-Out # 6...The Winners of Knock-Outs 1-6 will comprise the 6 cars in the Final/Championship...So, the Winner of the Orange Monster Rally will win a Total of Nine(9) races...Their Heat...Their Knock-Out...and the first car to Win 3 races in the Final/Championship.
Penalties/DNF
65g tight....not 66g or 67g....No TE Rule.
Hot Wheels...Matchbox...Johnny Lightning...Zuru Metal Machine...Maisto...all good.

Each member of the Legion of Speed will be maxing out with 3 teams...so 72 of the 216 car field are taken...I also have Hot Wheels Racing teams here and he's maxing out at 3 teams/18 cars...so 90 cars in house.
