Glory and Bragging Rights

Races will be run on the Quest Speedway track.

4 Tracks

Stage 1 - Quest Speedway NC

Stage 2 - Red Pill Hill GA

Stage 3 - Goodnight Trail TX

Stage 4 - D64 2Lane UT

Race format and scoring

This will be a single-elimination tournament. A car will move on in the bracket only when it wins two races in a row. Cars will alternate lanes between each race.

The car that wins the final race will be declared the winner. Race host has final decision in all races.

Bracket seeding will be random but will try to avoid having an entrant race themselves, especially in the first round. If the Cars are tied 4 to 4 after 8 races...a coin flip will determine lanes for the 9th race...winner moves on in the Bracket.

Cars are given a grace of 2g over the stated weight limit to account for variance in scales.

If a car fails to meet any of the restrictions listed above, the car will not qualify for tournament prizes. Offending cars will still race. Prize will go to the runner-up in the case of penalty car winning.

Cars that fail to run or fit on the track, or that happen to break during racing, will forfeit their matches. Cars that arrive broken will attempt to be repaired before the tournament. Cars that break during the tournament will not be repaired or replaced.

I need to locate a ccm. I've got a couple gov'ners

  • I can send you one...I'd swap the tires from the Trap5's — LeagueofSpeed
  • I will accept and thank you — NDeavers80

Can track hosts list specs for their tracks? Overall length, drop, flat, etc?

I want to race in the SHOWDOWN!

Would anyone care to share what FTE car makes a good donor for the rear wheels on the Gov'ner? I checked my donors and the rear wheels are bigger than what I have.
