Carl nice job with the racing in Texas! Thanks for getting it in so quickly and getting them out to Ct. to race this weekend. I would like to congratulate Alexis G. (2FAST4U) for winning in Texas. Lets see how she does in New London, Ct. on the FOTF Speedway! Again great job Carl!
Top Sportsman cars started their trek to FOTF Raceway yesterday and are scheduled to arrive Thursday.

Amid much fanfare, the Top Sportsman Cars and Crews arrived in the Whaling City on Thursday right on schedule. Due to the effects of Hurricain Sandy on the area's infastructure, the exact time and day of racing has not yet been determined. We realize that thousand's of tickets were bought in advance of the event originally scheduled for Saturday or Sunday, and if the racing is post-poned to Monday or Tuesday, we will refund all prepurchased ticket holders to the tune of 50% of purchase price. We will also slash all concessions prices by the same 50%. As always the track, facilities, and parking lots are in tip top shape, and its now just a matter of the Mayor, Governor and Connecticut Light and Power granting our patrons free passage on all access roads and highways. Well Ladies and Gentlemen. Its a beautiful day in Ct, with a bright sunshine and a cool breeze.The Governor of CT and the Mayor of New London have finally granted us permission to allow all of our patrons free reign of the local roads to get to FOTF Speedway. It should be a great day of racing. You can see some of the prerace pictures posted by Cameron and myself on the Redline Derby Facebook page and also the Lincoln Johnnyu LIghtning Club Facebook page. Its there that you'll see the Sloppy Jalopy team was being investigated by local law enforcement and the ATF for suspected weapons trafficing.

there is one in every crowd... here i am... the 1948 -52 ford 1/2 ton pick ups were F1s.... and the 1953 - ? 1/2 ton pick ups are F100s. the well fed violet and white #4, top sportsman II heet #2 winner is an F100...
