Track Championship
i Was Trying To Think Of What Would Be A Good Series To Start Up And I Haven't Seen Anyone Have A Track Championship. I Figure Every Track Should Have A Track Champion. It Would Be One Track A Month, The Track Owners Post Track Dimensions So We Can BuilD The Prefect Car For The Specific Track. It Would Be Up To The Hosting Track To Set Their Own Rules And Themes For The Cars. This Is Just An Idea I've Had To Keep Racing Going Month To Month. Let Me Know If This Is Something That Would Have Your Interest In Participating In. Or If I Should Scratch The Idea.

Yeah I Thought About That But If You Give Us A Chance To Build A Car Specific For A Certain Track I Believe It Would Be A True Track ChampioN. But Yes On The Other Hand It Would Be Cool To Have One Car Possibly Win A Couple Track Championships. Also All The Rules Would Have To Be The Same Rather Than Having Diversity Between Tracks. Maybe This Is Something ThaT We Can Come To Certain Agreements And MayBe Make This Happen.
I understand the point of the track champion part. I'm just pointing out logistically...it seems if all the cars are in one place after the track championship takes place, it would be almost counterproductive not to send them on to another track. Not counterproductive, but sort of getting the most for your money/killing two birds with one stone type thing. Of course if your trying to determine the champion of one track there's not much reason to send them on to the next. Sort of a Catch 22 thing going on here.
Also the track host certainly, you would think, would have quite an advantage. Host winning is not always the case in the series racing though.
Maybe Brian from Redline Derby would like to host such a one off race in the future. Like the truck challenge last year. That could be cool.
I like the idea too...and when it comes to custom racers I don't put much stock in the "home track advantage" part. You might know your track inside and out but it's less about the track and more about the car you build. I might know my track but that doesn't mean I can build a car to match it...I can try but who knows. And after seeing the cars you all make from the last time I hosted, there's no such thing as a "sure thing"
I'll look at my schedule to possibly host but I'm pretty stacked at the moment so in the meantime if someone else wants to kick this off that would be sweet. Maybe PM EconoCarl so he can keep tabs on the tournaments, dates, etc.

Sounds good to me. The thing is. Once you get all the cars together in one place like that it's very easy to send them on to the next track...something to keep in mind.
