What are your racing colors?
I may paint a racing car just about any color I choose, but when the car needs to look like a real race car or rally car etc. then its orange and white in some combination with perhaps a touch of black here or there.

My logo colors are red, white and black, but I usually paint my cars in metallic paint, like silver, gold, or copper. For the upcoming James Bond race at GTR, Mark specifically asked us to use our racing/logo colors. I will probably do the same for the muscle car rally at EP videos. I almost always use my logo colors in my racing number decals.

My Colors For My Drivers,
- X: Red, Blue, Black, & Granite, With Golden Xs
- Blue Flash: Any Shade of Blue (Since His Name is Blue Flash.)
But Mainly My Colors are Red, Blue, Black, & Granite.
Not entered an event yet, but the question got me thinking as to when I do.
Black and blue most probably and as and when I do get to enter race "Black Cat Racing" (we own black cats) is noted down.
Outside of that as a massive fan of Le Mans, I am drawn towards the Gulf colour scheme a lot.

I don't have a particular paint color scheme. I usually pick a color and find decals that fit that color. Maybe I should pick the decals first. I have been thinking about choosing a set scheme though to make my cars easier to see on the track. Everyone that I see with a set scheme, the cars are easy to se and keep track of.
If I can pick your car out of a group photo [snap!] without the help of graphics added in post, that's a good scheme. Dog Squab Racing and Milestone Racing do excellently there with but two colours. Kind of an aside, Fat Dad so often lined the windows of the car with a distinctive layer of material. There's some out-of-the-box thinking to consider!
I don't usually use any specific colors, but my logo is yellow and purple so I've done some cars with that. I'm a big fan of orange/red fades, since my favorite color is orange. I'm also going to be doing more yellow and black with Mango the Cockatiel as the driver.
I would say that I have more "Garage" colors than racing colors at this time. Not having entered too many races (yet). Having said that, my garage colors are:
Tamiya Pearl Green
and
Tamiya Racing Green
Green is my favorite color and living in Florida I see a lot of it!

I don't really have a set of strict colors, though I've used the rusty paint more often than others, which is made using black engine enamel, metallic silver, and fluorescent orange. One example is this Baja Bouncer i recently mailed out to Portillo Entertainment

For me it's always been green. Sometimes I'll add black and have occasionally tried adding blue to the mix, but green has always been my main color.

I have tried a couple and have settled on white/yellow/Petty blue...I have a paint scheme that (except for special occasions) that I am using as well. I feel that will make my cars known and I can see them well on most tracks.
