What is the order and dates for upcoming races?

I was wondering what classes are next as far as Featherweight 3 and Gasser Wars 2? I know there is going to be a Truck race, Flopper wars in there also. Maybe we can put a calendar on here we would like to run all the series just knowing that we have them for the second Sunday of each month. The only change for our meetings coming up would be our December Finals (Winternationals) which will be the first Sunday December 2nd. Let me know!

I hope there will be an interest in "Flopper Wars" I may run a 16 car test race to see if there is an interest in a series. Let me know guys.
OOPS, i thought we would be building our own floppers like the gassers, sort of an anything you can put on a funnycar base, i'm gonna put these funnies back in the half done-someday case !
I think that would be OK too Smitty. I have a have half finished Funny Car I started months ago. I'm fighting myself because making it look good would be a different path then making it fast. So, it's been on hold forever.
We could build our own cars, I'm open to whatever flys. I thought it being an easy race for everyone. Pick a car for each race and keep track of points ala Redline Derby with a winning car being retired after each race
.
And just a friendly reminder to whomever is posting/organizing the mail-in races and other events, add them to the new Diecast Racing calendar for easy listing.

I know the mail-in manager isn't primed for series tournaments but that doesn't mean you can't post the event as a non-mailin so it appears on the calendar at least. Even if you just add things to the calendar with links to the forum here, it gives everyone a nice place to see what's coming and where things are happening.
Thanks Brian, still just a thought.
Brian, is it possible for entrants in the first race of a series to garner points on Redlinederby, provided the Redlinederby points guidelines are followed? That way our serieses could earn peoples some pointses!
The only way to hook into the points is through the registration system...so the best solution might be to create a mail-in tournament and just denote in the details that it is a series that will travel. Then after the series is all done, post the series results and people will get points accordingly. The downside is they won't get points for each tournament on the circuit, just the entire series but right now there's no easy way around that.
Sportsman Johnnys start Aug 12 (Series)
Truck O Rama - Sept 2 (one off event)
Gasser Wars 2/Chevelle Cup start Sept 15/16. (Series)
Featherweight 3 sometime after those.
I don't know if a formal date/race has been set up for the Floppers. Just some talk.
