I'm a fan of classic rock, you know the usual stuff Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath. I went to high school in the 80's so I grew up with Heavy Metal. Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Kiss, AC/DC that kind of stuff. Very first records when I was a kid was Beatles , Rolling Stone, The Who ect...

I'm into Metal, especially the power and progressive metal acts. Also into melodic death metal. My favorites being Blind Guardian, Savatage, Insomnium, Swallow the Sun, Vanden Plas, Helloween, Amorphis and Evergrey. I believe I used some music from these bands in my videos.

The Blues for sure. I like John Lee Hooker, Bobby "blue" Bland, Muddy Waters, ect...and all the early rock bands that copied the blues. Led Zeppelin, The Animals, Rolling Stones, Cream, and many many more.

Savatage -Hall Of The Mountain King is an album that's pretty awesome. Progressive 80's hair metal.

I listen to whatever the classic rock station is playing at the time. I did buy an MP3 player for the van recently and I've been uploading cheap CDs that I get from Walmart. Mostly classic rock stuff but some 80s stuff too (for Martha )

Don't try to take me to a Disco, you'll never even get me out on the floor. In 10 minutes I'll be late for the door, I like that old time rock and roll. Still like that old time rock and roll, the kinda music just soothes the soul. I reminisce about the days of old, With that old time rock and roll. Won't go to hear 'em play a Tango, I'd rather hear some blues or funky old soul. There's only one sure way to get me to go, start playin' old time rock and roll. Call me a relic call me what'cha will, say I'm old fashioned say I'm over the hill. Today's music ain't got the same soul, I like that old time rock and roll.

Now Martha, that's another story!

Adult alternative mostly, although my preferences wander to some fairly obscure areas of music from time-to-time. I can tolerate almost anything....traditional folk, old country, new age, metal...I can appreciate all of it.

I'm a little all over the place...shy of country and rap, I can enjoy most stuff. On average though, I'm a hard rock guy circa 1975-1994. Boston, KISS, Guns N Roses, Ratt, Tesla, Iron Maiden...and on down the list. But my prime high school years were spent in the mid-90s so all of the rock from 1991 - 2000 is always within reach; Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins, STP. But thanks to "older" parents I'm well versed in music 1955 - 1980...and that includes disco, unfortunately. Despite my parents being in their prime in the late 60s and through the 70s, they were squares when it came to music.

My wife and I discuss music A LOT around the house and collectively I think we make for quite a music brain. One of these days I'd like to write a book about my musical journey because it really runs the a crazy course from top 40 pop to industrial to techno to classic rock to heavy metal.

my musical journey because it really runs the a crazy course

Yes, if your open minded and live long enough I think that's what happens.

I`m addicted to almost all kinds of music except dubstep and some pop-music...
Almost in each genre - there`s a brilliant song that can rise up anyone`s mood
