Which 2016 HW cars are fast?

Do they have any of the big Ford Transit vans for 2016? Those might do well.

Do the Mystery Models count? I read somewhere here that the gold car in the 2016 Mystery Model Series is quite fast. I purchased one for myself, but have not have raced it down the track. It might be hard finding them if your local Walmart doesn't have em in stock.

Dosen't help you any.  But check out this race of 2015 cars.  One of my cars won in a field of about 80.  I bought another identical car and it's not fast at all.

There's a lot of variability in manufacturing.  I have a pair of these guys....

Among my fastest standard cars and with two that are super fast I felt confident sending one into a rip and race here I'd do well....yeah, lost to a guy that lost his next race to a guy that lost his next race.   Total loser. 

So, even if you have a known winner, you never know what it's gonna do.

I guess the fact that you never know what you're gonna get makes it interesting to open lots of cars.

A Ford Transit did well in the race my Bently won, also my car, took second I think....and FOTF also recommends, but I have two more that are not fast.  It's all about the wheels and axles...some castings have better weight distribution and on average will be better but really about luck in the wheels and axles.

Very true...but you want to be at least in the same ball park...

Yeah, you want a long casting that's heavy with it's weight in the back....on average those do well.  You also might want colored wheels...or more likely odd wheels...odd wheels having a shorter production run, less wear on the molds, more likely to be well formed.

There's logic that can be applied to increase your odds, but still possible to lose to a Mini with micro wheels.

I just pick up this '85 Camaro IROC-Z from Target. Its metal/metal and is bound to be a fast one! It definitely reminds me of the cars from the 80s/90s.

At C4, there was a race on their Dragtrack and a 2016 Rapid Responder won the tournament.
