3 outa 4 are at least ten years old ... how much is that in diecast years ?

Considering how many HWs meet their early demise in the hands of overly aggressive 4yr olds during sandbox play...the cars are at least 150yrs old.

Mine are stripped of stock paint, waiting for warmer weather to spray some primer and paint!

But some of my new purchases might throw a wrench into my selections...

A Few Questions, As I Do Plan To Enter...

Can You Use A "Matchbox Car (For Instance)" With
"Hot Wheels" Wheels In The Modified Class?

Are "Powder Lubricants" Allowed In Modified Class?

Also, Do You Have To "Mark" Cars So That They Can Be
Identified, Or Do You Take Care Of That?

Thanks Alot!

Welcome Bluff_Rat!!

I'm sure Carl will elaborate on the rules, but since both modified & stock cars are accepted...I don't see why a modified Matchbox wouldn't qualify if it weighs less than 34.9g. I'm using some decals to help identify my cars. Not sure about dry lubes though.

Uhoh...I'd better get my azz in gear(or at least be prepared to shell out big$$ for express shipping)!!

Welcome to the site Bluff_Rat. Brian, the site owner, will more than likely give you a proper welcome!

Any car meeting the rules is allowed. Take a look at the rules on the first page of this thread. There are no classes. All cars, stock and modified, run together.

Only dry lubricants are allowed (we don't want to mess up anyone's track ). This was just added to the rules post!

If you have any other questions please post them. And get busy, the cars need to be in California by the 27th of February.
