About
Mayhem Speedway is a unique outdoor race course which combines my love of die cast racing and gardening. It has a manual start for two racers. It starts off with the old Hot Wheels orange track that goes on to a Sizzler fat track turn. Along the orange track section there is a wicked banked turn, a mogul section, and also a spinning buzzsaw. After an open track banked turn the racers descend onto a 30 degree downhill-- the infamous Dennis Hill! If the cars survive this, then they go through another open track banked turn into a jump over a bed of nails. After the first jump the course narrows into a Crash Racers' track through a tunnel of barbed wire. There is one last dramatic jump at the finish line over a pit of deadly snakes and scorpions into an old abandoned minefield (as of this date the mines still appear to disarmed).
Not all cars make it down the track. It's not called Mayhem Speedway for nothing! There are a number of hazards on the track including an uphill turn, a bumpy section, an operating buzzsaw between the orange tracks, barbed wire, two open course fast turns, and two jumps. Monsters, rusty nails, spinning buzzsaws, spikes, snakes, spiders, cacti, and cement punish the weak. This track is where a love of succulents and die-cast-car-chaos reigns supreme.
