I'll shoot for two teams but it will probably end up being one. I just have to figure out who goes with who.

the willys body is too wide for orange track, the troca body is wider than his stock wheels and the body rubs the track sides...[brakes]... just being a pain !
I'm planning on being out of town in early May, but I can host the first and last race in this series. So, I updated the first post...the first race will be May 9th (which will get here pretty quick)!

I posted this in the Rookie Race thread, but I'll post it here too. I am going to give an award for the highest placing Rookie car/truck. It will probably be a one-off custom of some sort...I'll have to figure that out.
Any Rookie that is currently in the Rookie Race is open to this award...plus any other new racer! So, get in the workshop and put those cars together, Guys!

Just updating this project...
I just milled the chassis a little so I can, hopefully, fit those fat fte's on the back of the '36!

- I took .020" off each side of the chassis for now. trying to get it narrow enough and still looking right — 72_Chevy_C10
Yup, you can fit the wide rear fte wheels on a Neet Streeter '36 Ford...
Needs some weight and paint...maybe I'll get it done this weekend :)
Well, we are at the one month warning for this race! I've got cars from Smitty and Traction Event...and I'll have two teams for myself...so, the numbers are already starting to look good...10 cars a month out. But, I hope we can have a nice, full field for this race!
These cars are going to be fun races...and they will look great going down the track! It's not easy to make trucks or Fat Fenders go fast, so it should be an interesting race!
note the beadwork around the windows and the beltline reveals on this one... check out the yellow w/ red flames release, the differences ... anybody got a good pic of a stripped yellow NS ? or a green n' white white walled release...
