Hello,
I'm a rookie, but I am hoping to have two teams ready for this event. Both beaters have been started and I'm waiting for my fat fendered cars to arrive. Two main questions for now. Are all the tracks in this series the same basic layout of drop and runout? How do I add images to my post to show any progress?
Thanks for all the help and I've been just a spectator of this site and racing far too long. Can't wait to join this enthusiastic group.

To answers your questions...the tracks will be all be Drag Tracks...basically. But they will be in different configurations. Smitty and 2Seven use the Drag Track transitions and I do my own this there.

Thanks for the compliments. I just hope they're competative. Can't wait to show car going with the old Matchbox. Definitely a theme together. The Chevy was one I had as a kid. I aged it using my sister's paint by number kit about 30 years ago. I bet the paint underneath is pristine.

We are 3 weeks out from the start of this race! I'm just stirring up things...You still have plenty of time to get your cars and trucks built....even if you haven't started on them yet!
I can't wait to see the cars for this race!
I might have to revamp this tired old truck for this race...
or build a similar one :)
Went to a local Flea Market (Oldsmar, Florida) and picked up 12 carded FTE cars for a buck each and set up an account at Bernie's Wheels and put in an order. Hopefully selling my soul to the copper rimmed gods will make me a touch more competitive for this event. There was a comment about a Chrysler 300 FTE chassis fitting the beater truck I displayed earlier...

My cars shipped today. I did work to my truck but didnt really touch the rod due to the fact of selling my house and having to pack everything. I did not include the race entry slip I was supposed to cause its boxed away I just wrote it on a piece of paper.

If you send two trucks, you could run your Middleweight, Flamed Willys in this race as well (teamed with the 2nd truck!)
I'm excited to see theses cars on your track!
