Before and After Series.
well fred will get his chance as we are re-running the Before and After Series heet #2 races this week ... go 442 go !
Heet #2 Auburn is a cluster.... My apologies
comparative times ;
page 2 ;
biggest difference...first = #8 Nightstalker... second = #6 delta 6 and third = #10 webber cabin...
I'm confused..... I thought 77 was my after car, yet it shows it raced in the Before race? Or am I just being goofy as usual?
- yea, i got the # wrong on the brackets, check the time by lane pages...... before #76, after #77, — model40fan
- OK — KandORacing
- i also didn't drop fred's 14 into the loser's bracket... this is the last double eliminations that i will run.. i will host , single elims — model40fan
- I've always hated double elimination races anyway, I'm not allowing double eliminations in my Matchbox series — KandORacing
- don't get me wrong, i think any host that wants to run double elims can... — model40fan
- Single Eliminations are definitely easier, but double allows for better placement — JDC442
- In the rules on my Matchbox series it only allows single eleminiations though. — KandORacing
Smitty, it looks like the top bracket may actually be the "After" bracket. Traction #5, Delta #6 and Nightstalkers #8 fast mods doing well makes more sense being in the first bracket you have labeled as the "Before" bracket. I could be wrong, just wanted you to check it out.
Thanks for running the races Smitty. Can't wait to see the cars here in B'ham -maybe Delta will let me help him run the races again. Always a good time!
I pooched both brackets... Where most losers drop straight down, in a later round the loser drops down but also forward one row, that threw me off in both brackets, I dropped the #2 straight down, but that's where #8 & #14 should have been...I also noticed that I moved TE's DNF on and dropped TNF's #17 down to the loser's bracket by mistake...
.................
. Too many mistakes to let it go... 442 is going to save my bacon by re-running the cars this week, I'll be shipping them Saturday AM...We can use the Auburn time differences with his results...
.................
As posted in a thumbs up above, I won't be running future double eliminations, too much for this old brain... I will host almost any race series, but at my house, it will be single eliminations only...
- Doubles are too much for my brain, and I'm only 16! — KandORacing
- cars mailed by 10;am... # 911 490 112 308 675 063 349 29... they say monday — model40fan
- Awesome, let's race! — KandORacing
CARS ARRIVED TODAY!! RACING WILL COMMENCE TOMORROW!!!
I'M TRYING A BIT OF A DIFFERENT TRACK SET UP, SO WE'LL SEE IF THAT DOESN'T SHAKE THINGS UP A BIT.
Races are in the Books!
No surprises in the Before race (similar results to Spokane), so I'm just going to post the finished bracket.
The "AFTER" race was more interesting, so I'll post a play by play of the race, then a picture of the Finished Bracket along with a shot of the Bellingham "AFTER" champion, and you might not guess who it is....
- What was the final track lay out??? — Traction-Event
- yea, track pix — model40fan
- Sorry, already took the track down. It was a short quick drop and a long run out — JDC442
Mock up for the finish line pix ;
Hope Fred understands it's just a picture...
