BWF Camaro Friendly Controversy
I was just looking on Ebay, for a Way 2 Fast FTE, but they only had one, and it looked kind of beat up...I'll keep looking.

I have one of them. W2FFTE. It's...kinda fast, but it's never been quite the same since its axle was bent and I straightened it (a risk that could be expected for such a car). I don't think. I didn't have it long before that happened.
FOTF, do other versions of this JL Camaro casting perform as well(speed & consistency) as the "BWF"? Just wondering.
'69s? From the start, I wouldn't say any of them are quite as fast (usually)--unless the BWF in question is worn down like my original. However, the red Spiderman Camaro has become a big hit at the LJLRC (two of them already having won--one of them belonging to Sinisterdog), and we've had pretty good experience with the Yellow Yenko Camaro (an excellent car, but they don't typically seem to have the 'edge' that the Spidercamaros do).
If you asked SD, he'd tell you that any JL Camaro is more likely to be fast than another JL. Strangely enough, he's kind of got a point--hiwever, his point does have exceptions.
Another BWF win at Connecticut Valley Diecast...not saying much, though, as there were about five people in the race. None of them raced much. Sinisterdog's from RNL won it--he beat Advent, who beat Lenten. Also, my big ol' JL Spectacular Spidervan won the Red, White, & Blue Race.
Here is the latest race video up close, so you can see all the action!

Another awesome Preacher production! I can't believe the MBX Cadillac actually got that close!
Two things I would suggest: 1, try to get some padding in your catchbox--if the cars hit just right (or wrong) it could be detrimental to their speed. 2, be careful sending multiple cars down at once in the same lane; it could easily hurt the axles, and will almost certainly mess up the paint jobs (though the importance of less likely to damage the Camaro's axle.
That catchbox is PAINFUL to watch. I'll tell you what, that BWF Camaro wont be your fastest car for much longer if you dont make that catchbox safer.
ditto on the CRASHBOX worpex, but calling out the preacher might get you struck by lightning... on a sunny day !
O.k. guys...here is a better picture of the stopbox. The cars come into the box and hit a 3 inch piece of foam. Maybe I need to put some rags in there to absorb some of that energy, and keep the cars from flipping around.

Uh... it's "RENEGED"...

GSpeedR makes some good points; a lot of cars are hit-or-miss--and some mint F/Cs can usually take out most other HWs. But that's the odd thing about them; while they're all essentially the same, some F/Cs actually tend to be faster than others. However, that's an advantage the Camaro has on them all...four BWFs have been unpackaged in this house, and 100% were well worth it. You won't find such consistency with many other cars if you ask me (even a lot of JLs).
