Enduro Race Idea

I was thinking of running a race in the spring called Strollers Enduro Run. { Ooh new name..."Stroller's Rollers" tip of the hat to Smitty} The main idea is it will be a 40 ft. single lane track. It will have a 3 ft. ramp. The ramp will be adjustable from 1 inch to 12 inch height. Runs will be made from 1-3-6-9 and 12 inch ramp height. The rest of the track will be straight and as level as I can make it. In this tournament it's not how fast your car goes, it's how far it will go. The distance will be measured down to the 1/16th of an inch. There maybe a light weight and a heavy weight division. Feedback, ideas, please........

cool, our street rod club used to do a "roast and coast" at our events... before liability concerns 86ed that...

I like this idea! I think I've got some cars that would do well.

I've been thinking about making a ramp for something like this, that's more straight than downhill so it's more about the roll-ability of the cars rather than out right speed.

How about minimum and maximum weight restrictions?

Wouldn't he qualify for the Fords Fords Fords? (Would have to come up with an early model vehicle as well.)

I actually forgot about this post. Glad to see some ppl are interested. As for minimum maximum weights. I was thinking of 2 ranges "light weight" 0 to 40 grams and "Heavy Weight" 41 to 90 grams. As for vehicle types run what you will. As long as you stay with in weight limits. also there will be height, width and length limits tba....thinking thinking...

0 gram minimum, huh? Do you think you could push that a little lower?
