Featherweight Challenge Series II (California)
I just found out that I won't have my tool that gets photos from my camera and into the computer.Until I am able to replace it I can't get any photos onto the computer. Probably Monday I can come up with something. The last few team photos are on hold. If you guys are in a hurry, I'll just scan the brackets and post them. If you want to wait for the photos It'll be probably Tuesday. I'm bummed, but it's just a temporary inconceivence, but bad timing for sure.
Does your computer have a port that you can put the camera's memory card directly into? I used to use the cord until my step daughter showed me this trick.

The Low C-GT bottomed out and the Italia slowed considerably after the mod. It would have been interesting to race against the Half Fast team if these were my entries as we both would have the same Lotus and Italias going at it.

One computer has the port but it does not work. Other computer no port.
It would have been nice to see all those yellow cars going against the Orange ones.
That's pretty funny, now that I look closer that darn thing is a Viper...it's got a roof I guess that's what's throwing me off. Not the 90's anymore I suppose.

Yeah, I'm a bit dissapionted that not many teams joined in on this FW Challenge. Missing a few big names like Jobe and GspeedR. Looking back at the teams from last series, this one is going to be a lot smaller.
I think the Half Fast Lotus is a body swap, cause I'm pretty sure there isn't a yellow FTE stock version. Smitty's team is once again impressive and if they're as fast as they are cool-looking, we're in for some trouble. The FTEs on Delta's team are indeed mods -he painted the Lambo and added FTEs, stripped the paint on the Beetle and added FTEs.
TLD~ that is one motley crew of racers.

That is correct. Delta6's Lambo is a mod w/no interior. No FTE Lambo exists in Mattels lineup as far as I could research as well as the custom Beetle, which was a challenge. It consists of a metal base and body, so I ditched the interior, sanded down all the body lines and then evened everything out. The rear axle was a bit wide, causing it to shimmy during test phase, so I cut an early redline bearing in half and then notched it so it snaps right onto the rear axle and pushes the wheels out. Didn't get to test it again after that. That black & orange thing was an alternate for the custom Demon I was working on. Talk about heavy! Even after cutting off the rear spoiler, which probably weighed as much as a $1 stack of quarters, I had to drill about x8-1/8 inch holes in the base to get the weight down. I wish I had more time to square away the Demon I had going. Can't wait! I got real excited when I some of the photos that were posted.

That's funny. I never stopped and really examined it, but each time I would come across that Bug. I was thinking, "Boy there's not much to this after you take off the paint.
