The Strip Teaser I have is perfect for my second car! Once I JB weld some FTEs and it's good to go.
- I think TE was saying that car us worth quite a but of $...you might want to re-think cutting it up — 72_Chevy_C10
- It's actally one that's been kid painted really well. — Brakefluid_Tracksurgeon
- nice work ;) — JDC442
- Not the first time I was wrong... — Traction-Event

The guts are all in this little beast. Pulled the wheels/axles off a testy Blastous. Now just need to marry the body to the base and I'm in this thing.
Well I do not have old beat up well played with redline cars, but I did find these 2 that I picked up from a garage sale I'm thinking. They are in the spirit of reviving an old beat up ride. So I am asking permission to enter these 2. If they are going to be painted pink and gain me no points I won't bother sending them in. So what do you think can they play?...... Stroller

BTW I am not painting them.
- Why not use the cut-off date that they used redlines...around 1976, right? Early relines are getting scarce...Hong Kong cars are out there — 72_Chevy_C10
- Stroller I want to paint something pink in the worst way.... :) — Traction-Event
Guys, great looking cars getting built!!! Can't wait to see them in action.
As for a shipping DEADLINE... I will run these cars between Christmas and New Year's day on my time off. The Dec 15th date was to help you all avoid the Mail rush this time of year.
Stroller, I'm thinking... looking for input from your competitors... Not trying to be dificult...just fair
- I don't want to cause any bad feelings so I will with draw my enquiry with no ill thoughts. Merry Christmas all !! — Stroller
- Stroller,you are right... it's Christmas. ..send them in! — Traction-Event
- Well Clayfeat made good point. She told me that I Like to play by the rules so I will not send my cars. — Stroller
- But coming soon will be my next series. "Old Beatup DieCast Cars" .....lol it's a little late enter anyway. — Stroller
- too late is what I meant.. — Stroller
- stroller musta missed the offer i posted for a once redline neetstreeter... still got it, want it ? — fordman

How about using this page as a guide, TE...

I know that you wanted the cars to all be the early Redlines, but those cars are getting scarce and expensive. The cars, up to '77 are easier to find...and they are still almost 40 years old!
Just my 2 cents :)
- well shoot! I've got more vintage supervans. I saw a date of pre 71 way early on. bummer — CrzyTrkrDude
- I hate seeing rules changed, prior or during an event... on principal. I also don't want to alienate any racers — Traction-Event
- My "Sweet 16" 68 Cougar has allready undergone a unreversable modification. Not the time now to change rules. My 2 cents. — Nightstalker
I'm looking forward to this event. I love seeing your rides!!!! As for me, I get home on the 19th. I'll see if I can get a redline modded up and sent before Xmas!!!! I sure hope so. I don't want to miss this event
Overweight cars could be painted entirely (in pink) like this:

stroller, The NEET STREETER was a later release redline... basic wheels with a red line...
i tossed in the base and induction scoop... go rolla go !
Color Shifters have the same nickel plated axles as FTE's to make them waterproof. Also easier to get and less time trying to get their wheels out since their bodies are plastic.

Is "original redline" meant to mean a car with the caped "bearing" style wheels or just any car with redlines...like are we including most of the 70s?
