What's the easiest way to take a flopper apart?

econo-carl posted a comment recently on just that,
one of the guys mentioned a woodburning tool [he will keep us in the loop],
if you are replacing the wheels, i preheat the teeth /jaws with a candle [melts wheels], like carl i pry the teeth apart with a small screw driver to let the pivot rods slide through.... after customizing to your pleasure, oil the pivot rods, pop the body and base together [check for center and level] and J.B.QUICK the teeth / jaws ends together.... the oil will let it FLOP.

off topic ; will there be any wheel restrictions on the altered or gasser classes that are upcoming ?

Yeah I glued my hinge closed for that very reason..

So, the Floppers don't have to actually flop?

My cars are ready....

I never came out and said floppers must flop, but mine does as it should.....both cars have chutes, and a wheelie bar on the pro stock.

Also updated prizes.

I was wondering the same thing if they had to flop. Hey traction event those are some sweet looking cars man i like the paint schemes.

Kharvest, thanks....the paint is factory......time will tell if they perform....

As far as floppers having to flop. I think they should, but as stated above I never made it a rule...so build and submit what you think is right, I'll race it!

The Sloppy Jalopies arrived today.... and they look even better in person.
