BWF Camaro Friendly Controversy

chance of losing a trophy-winner. I'll win, trust me, but I don't want your car. I don't want to risk mine either. Honor's good enough for me.

As for the rest of you, after tonight, I'm getting really hyped up for this 60-gram race, so please let me know when you choose a place and time. I'll race you, and I'll beat you, but I won't take your cars.

Like I said I offered up the grudge match / pink slip race to add some excitment to the factory wars. .... now this discussion has truly spun out.

For the 60gram race:
rules need to be set...
bought cars, or built cars?

Put your Camaro where your mouth is. There is no greater trophy than another racers car, especially one that has been built with trial and error, blood sweat and tears....

till then....see you all in factory wars....

I'm sorry, I don't get what Carl means.

I find this statement somewhat amusing.
I'm sure everyone else gets it!

early days of racing... guys pooled meager $ to get a car up and running... didn't win very often, but wanted to be one of the racers... then a guy would show up with a showroom fresh big block muscle car funded by ?...
the racers would all admit that it is hard to build your own car and compete with "factory race cars"... needless to say the boys didn't coddin on to the silver spooner .
so fotf, when you brag about your who knows who bought $30.oo BWFC you should expect to be treated accordingly !
and IMO if you are a WINNER try acting like 442 !

I know; however, not only were neither of the cars in our pinkslip challenge built outside of the package, but the Camaro's value just went up further in my eyes. As for the 60-gram challenge, I would say both stock and built. Mods are some of the best and can make it closer to the exact weight limit; I want to see everybody's best...and beat them at it.
Another idea would be to not have a weight limit on stocks, as I'm pretty confident the BWF could beat most any stock. That's up to you guys.

Smitty, Advent BWF was a Christmas present. However, I buy--or go halves on--many of my fast stocks myself. Take the Orange Thing. I got a great deal on it--2 or 3 bucks--but I bought it on TTP, because I'd heard they were fast. It payed for itself.
I have so many fast stock cars because I found LJLRC and RIHWC before I found RLD. Had I found you first, I would probably have more fast modifieds. Are you saying you expect me to give up racing stocks? I hope not...you'd be wasting your words. However, if you think you--or Carl, or JDC, or whoever--can beat me with mods, go ahead and try. I'm waiting.

Carl, I haven't heard anything out of you about actually racing for some time. If you, unlike me, aren't still willing to are do the talking?
Don't let me think the same about you, Smitty...

that you're faster--

My team is 6th in the Middleweight Challenge II, you're not. Does that prove I'm faster?

Carl, I haven't heard anything out of you about actually racing for some time.

I haven't heard anything about racing from YOU! You just talk silly nonsense about BWF Camaros.

. . . excluding the pinkslips . . .

If you wanna' talk like the BIG BOYS, then you should race like the BIG BOYS!

In your BWF Challenge there would be no racers,
in my BWF Challenge there would be many! Just sayin'!
All you have to lose is pride, oh . . . and a car!
