HWRL Championship Series

Wow--I guess my picks were more than a "Fantasy" after all!  Seriously, I was betting on the Thunder Burner.  (Where was that during the official race, Graduation Silverado?)

Thanks for the race, the video, and the brackets, CCR!  The editing and labels seemed accurate to me.

Did I see that the Silverado had gotten a 1.7768?  Or did I read that wrong?

Rally Case and Weber Cabin, I got your cars and now have six from each of you. Which four do you want entered in the upcoming team race. I don't have four yet from K and O, 2seven, and Happy Camper. I totally forgot the race was this weekend, thought it was later in the month for some reason. Sorry about that, I'll have to sit this one out.

Four car team race gets underway tonight after the kids are in bed. A lot of cars in this one. Hopefully I can get them all raced tonight but may have to finish up tomorrow. Expect results toward tommorow evening. I'm Super excited about this race. The long thirty foot length and lower drop height should make for some great races!

The results are in from the four car team race.  Phew! Hey guys, sorry it took me so long to get this video done.  It's been kind of a crazy week.  So just a bit of explanation about how the race was run.  It was an elimination race where cars received points for each race. However in this case, points are bad.  Once a car reaches 6 or more points it is eliminated.  A car receives  0 points for first place, 1 point for 2nd place, 2 points for 3rd place, and 3 points for 4th place.  Each round the software matches up cars with similar points and records.  Cars place according to when they are eliminated and how many points they have.  If two or more cars were eliminated after the same round with the same number of points then I ran them in a tie break race to sort out places.  Those tie breaking races were not filmed.  Ok, enough explanation, on to the good stuff!

Hey guys, this is where it starts getting interesting.  The first race was all about speed, a strictly timed event, where lanes, match-ups, etc. didn't matter.  The second race was still about speed, but was more of a race format where match-ups mattered and a little bit of luck to get in the right heats was helpful.  The next 3 races all bets are off.  Good cars run well, but a little bit of luck will be needed.  Cars run differently every time on these open lane tracks so anybody has a chance.  The next race is on the Thunder Road race track.  It is an open lane track made from Sizzler Fat Track.  The race will be on August 29, just about a month away. Let me know what you are racing in this event if I already have your cars.  If you still need to send cars for this race, try to get them in early.  If you haven't raced in any of the previous races but would like to get in on the action for these next three unique tracks, send in some cars.  The more the merrier!  This is going to be fun!

Hey guys, just a little over a week until the next race in the Hot Wheels Racing League Championship Series. It will be an open course race on fat track...and if you've been following the world race you know how much fun these races can be. If I already have your cars, let me know who your going to run in this race. If you still need to send them in, get them in the mail in the next few days. If you haven't raced with us yet but would like to get in on some more open course racing no problem, send some cars in. They can be either stock or modded cars for this race.
