Quick review: Amazon / FateGo track
I took a chance on the FateGo gravity track I’ve seen on Amazon. It comes with some curves, floppy rubber track that has to be heated to lay flat (which I probably won’t use), and a steep drop-off tower that I probably won’t use either.
The curves don’t fit Hot Wheels orange track or Crash Racers straights right out of the box. However, the connector tabs at the ends of the curves can be easily trimmed down with a box cutter for a snug connection.
The curves are a bit narrower than the Crash Racers straights, but you could still use a Crash Racers straight as an exit. They’re also completely flat without wheel guides, which makes them kind of interesting to add to your track collection.
Probably not worth the $60, but maybe worth picking up for variety’s sake if it ever comes down in price.
*Another nugget of info: At its steepest, the banking is at about a 34 degree angle while the crash racers sits around 60 degrees

Discussion
Thank You for the info. I had seen posts about this setup and was curious too.
Nice quick review...looks like good ol' BluTrack type thing. Although having the BT in shorter lengths would make it easier to de-waffle and keep flat but still a pain.
The poor mating out of the box with other track ecosystems, that's intentional I feel. Keeps the lawyers at bay. Softer materials, hmmm. Feels like you'd see greater friction, have to adjust the paradigms of slope management. Hence that STEEP drop so cars have energy to finish the system as packaged
Ack, no integral release mech for cars. Maybe they're saving that as an add on or second wave offering
Really appreciate the review!!
the corners are very interesting, being smooth
thanks for the review
I saw that track while looking for turns...but the connections in the curve look super rough
- I connected the crash racers straights to the entry and exit points of the turns and so far, the cars pass through fine. No hang ups yet! — Candlepins
Thanks for the review and the photo comparisons. Saved me a birthday gift card.

Thank you! You just saved me 100's on my car... wait, never mind. Glad to see it isn't a direct fit, but I wonder how it does solo, and if you get 2 that you might be able to create a decent small indoor course. Thanks for sharing!
